QUESTIONS ABOUT THE GETTING THERE
Do you have hotel pickup in the Cancun
Hotel Zone?
No we do not offer pick up from the Cancun Hotel Zone but it will be close
and a short taxi ride away. You could even take the bus as we send you
a map when you reserve.
We are staying in the Riviera Maya can
we take this fishing trip?
You can take the CANCUN HOTEL ZONE (NICHUPTE LAGOON) FLY AND SPIN TACKLE
FISHING TRIP but you will need a private transfer if you do not have a
car. Here are the private transfer prices:
Moon Palace to Pto. Morelos $90 USD round trip
Past Pto. Morelos to Playa del Carmen $120 USD round trip
Past Playa del Carmen to Pto. Aventuras $135 USD round trip
Past Pto Aventuras to Tulum $150 USD round trip
Please enter you transportation request in the “Please
enter your questions and comments here:” section on the reservation
form.
What time is the departure?
We normally depart at 6:00 AM but as we know you are probably here with
the family or on business we need to be flexible. So the question becomes,
“When do you want to leave?” However the fishing is generally
better early in the morning and the wind is less if you plan to fly fish.

QUESTIONS ABOUT RESERVATIONS AND
CANCELLATIONS
What happens once I reserve?
Once you send in a reservation with your credit card we will charge your
card the amount of the trip selected. Then we will send you a coupon which
you will print and bring with you present at check in. The coupon is your
proof of purchase and will have a unique confirmation number and coupon
number on it as well as an emergency phone number to call if something
goes wrong.
What is your cancellation policy?
You can cancel any fishing trip up to 24 hours before departure and only
pay a 5% credit administrative processing fee. If the trip is cancelled
because the port is closed or due to bad weather then you will receive
a 100% refund. Please remember we do not accept cancellations from anyone
but the person that made the reservation. This is to protect you.

and Change Policy.
What if I want to change the date of
the trip?
No problem, we will gladly move any trip for you to a different day, space
permitting, as long as you give us a minimum of 24 hours notice. There
is no fee for changes.
Is it possible to make a fly fishing
or spin tackle fishing reservation when I get to Cancun?
Yes. We do recommend you make your fishing reservations as far in advance
as possible so that you are sure to get a boat. During the high season
from January to August there are many times we have no boats available
2-3 days in advance.

outside Cancun call us at 01-998-898-4312. If you have a U.S. cell phone

Yes - we guarantee the prices you see. The prices are accurate and complete
meaning that there are no additional charges. Our guarantee is that you
will not pay more than that published price on our website. At the end
of the tour a tip is optional and is generally 10% - 15% of the price
depending on how much you like the trip how well you liked the service

QUESTIONS ABOUT THE FISHING
What are we likely to catch?
In the Nichupte Lagoon – in front of the Cancun Hotel Zone where
we go you may catch baby Tarpon, Snook, Permit, Snapper, Bone Fish, Barracuda
and Lady Fish or Skip Jack.
What happens to the fish we catch?
We practice a strict “catch and release” policy as the lagoon
is a protected area. Since no commercial fishing is allowed you will see
plenty of action in the channels, flats and mangroves right in the Cancun
hotel zone.
Do you provide the equipment?
Yes, if you are fly-fishing or spin tackle fishing we supply the equipment.
Tackle is important so we use:
• For Fly Fishing; “G-Loomis” fly rods with “Tibor”
or “Bauer” reels
• For Spin Tackle; “Shimano” and “Penn” rods
and reels
• Terminal tackle; depends on what specie you are fishing
Can I bring my own equipment?
Absolutely, if you have a favorite rod, reel, lures and flies bring them.
Do I need wading equipment?
No. The boats are actually very shallow draft and the guide will pole
you around so all fishing will actually be done from the boat.
What kind of pole, reels, line and flies
for fly fishing should I bring if I want to bring my own?

QUESTIONS ABOUT THE BOATS
What is the maximum number of people
on the boat?
The boat is private and just for you and your party. The maximum on one
boat is two fishermen. Our boats are small and if you are more than 2
fishermen you will need one boat for every 2 fisherman.
